Tradewind are recruiting for a 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant at a lovely school based in Cheadle in the vibrant area of Stockport, easily accessible by train, tram, bus or car!

To join us and be successful in this Stockport based SEND Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:

  • Have an enhanced DBS certificate (or be happy to apply for a new one).
  • Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable).
  • Minimum of 2 professional references (employer, study or volunteer).
  • Provide a CV with a full history from your education until present.
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK.
  • Some prior experience supporting children with special needs.

THE ROLE & SCHOOL

  • Special Needs high school in the Stockport area catering for young people aged 4-11 with special needs including Moderate or Complex Needs.
  • Starting in ASAP on a full time basis.
  • Expected to turn permanent for the right person.
  • Excellent pay up to £90/day.
  • Hours are 8:30am - 3:15pm.
  • 1 to 1 support
  • Whole group support when required.

  • Groups of no more than 8 pupils with 2-3 SEN Teaching Assistants in each.
