Tradewind Recruitment are working in conjunction with Oakview Academy in Winsford to recruit 2 specialist SEN teaching assistants.

Due to receiving additional funding, Oak View Academy are looking to appoint two really special individuals, who would like to make a difference to the lives of two young ladies in Year 5 as soon as possible.

Why work for Oak View

Oak View Academy is based in a small town called Winsford. Situated between Liverpool, Manchester and Chester, we are in a prime location. Surrounded by beautiful rural landscape, we also have Delamere Forest on our doorstep. The town has recently received a lot of funding with local infrastructure being improved. We are also a short drive from the picturesque town of Northwich, which now has a major shopping complex with cinema and restaurants.

Our school has improved immeasurably over the last 5 years and we are incredibly proud of the progress made. In March 2017 we were graded as being a 'good' school through Ofsted. We have lower than average class sizes and our focus is on the well-being of the children we support as well as their education. We encompass a holistic approach to the curriculum and offer our students a wide range of opportunities. Our curriculum is more than just learning!

We are a warm and welcoming team. We have a well‐established Senior Leadership Team who are understanding and caring, not only about our children but our staff. Our staff are given an additional day's holiday for Birthdays which can be taken during term time. A good work life balance is fundamental to our staff's well being and as a result our success.
As part of the North West Academies Trust we can offer fantastic opportunities for CPD and career development. Only recently our Deputy was appointed as Head at another school and we are always looking to promote from within when possible.
