We are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant L3 to provide SEN Support within Chorley!

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a resilient, patient and caring TA/LSA to support a range of SEND students on a 1:1 basis within a mainstream primary school. The role will be on a full time from 2nd December 2019 until May 2020, after a successful assignment the role will be extended or made permanent for the right candidate.

The successful SEN TA / SEN LSA will need to be able to support pupils that may have challenging behaviour, specific learning difficulties or EHCP's. With support from other members of staff, activities will be set by the teacher, and you will support pupils with their progress and attainment.

Leadership within the school is particularly praised as they consistently identify areas to improve, offering suitable and realistic strategic direction. Strong progress is being made within the core subject areas throughout the school, weaker students are also identified quickly and the plans in place have and effective and positive impact. Pupils across the school are very polite and welcoming, treating adults and each other with respect.

The successful Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant will be:
*Confident to support their SEND pupils with a range of needs from Autism to SLD.
*Able to support children in a variety of lessons.
*A committed professional, who has previous experience working with children. Experience with special needs is desirable.
*A lively and caring individual who will support groups of students and act as a 1:1 support.

This school in based within Chorley and there is easy access to the motorway and public transport links.
