They have a student joining their school in Reception with severe ASD and they're looking to have an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. You will be working with a little girl on a one-to-one basis split between the mainstream class and an SEN room. The student doesn't have any behavioural issues she just loses focus very quickly and is only able to communicate using singular words. The school requires someone with a familiarity with Makaton as it's written into the students' education healthcare plan.

THE PERFECT CANDIDATE
*A degree with a 2:1 or higher
*ASD Experience is a necessity
*Up to date First Aid training (not required but a plus)
*Up to date Safeguarding training
*Makaton experience
*Experience with following EHCPs
*Open to SEN
*The ability to slot in when and were needed - flexibility
*Bubbly personality
