Are you an experienced SEN Primary Teaching Assistant looking for your next role in the Clitheroe area?
Tradewind are currently recruiting a hardworking and organised SEN teaching assistant for an oversubscribed school in the Clitheroe area working as a year 5 teaching assistant in the mornings and 1-1 with a Year 5 boy with Autism in the afternoons. The role is for a level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to start ASAP, ideally after February half term and is to cover a maternity leave for 12 months.
We are recruiting for a L2 Teaching Assistant on behalf of a one form entry primary school. The school has a caring, Christian community firmly founded on Christian values. The staff all work together to provide a caring, family ethos in which their learners will be loved and nurtured in such a way as they in turn develop a respect and tolerance for all.
The highly ambitious headteacher has established a quality leadership team that have put in place well formulated plans for development, leading to high standards in pupils' achievement. The aspirations of the senior leaders are resolutely supported by the whole staff, who feel they have a voice in shaping the school improvement with precise actions that are quickly and successfully put in to place.
This OFSTED 'good' Primary School in the Clitheroe area is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work 1-1 in Year 5. The successful candidate must have SEN experience, excellent behaviour management and a good knowledge of the National Curriculum. You must be a committed practitioner who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout the role.
The school is on the outskirts of Clitheroe and has limited onsite carpark and is easily accessible by public transport and has good motorway links for drivers.
To join us and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role you will need to:
*Hold a L2 or above Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification
* SEN experience
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
