Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs.
- Assist the classroom teacher in planning and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Promote positive behavior and social development.
- Support students with personal care needs, as required.
- Collaborate with the teaching team and other professionals to ensure the holistic development of students.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
