Tradewind are seeking to recruit 2 Teaching Assistants who have had precious work experience in in an ASD School. Successful candidates will be able to work in Outstanding School, the staff are engaging and create schemes of work that get the full potential out of their students.

The school aim to provide a nurturing and structured, calm learning environment which supports our pupils to develop self-belief and a positive attitude towards learning. The school believe that all children with have autism can learn, make progress and succeed. The school want all pupils to feel happy, safe and included in the school community, so powerful teamwork and strong management
*Providing day to day classroom support to the children and assisting with pupil behaviour
*Establishing good relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and responding to individual needs
*Encouraging pupils to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher.
*Helping to plan lessons by preparing materials and resources
The school has small classes, so they can tailor the lessons to the individual needs of each student, they encourage independence and structured lessons, allowing time for social time too.
