SEN Teaching Assistant
Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant?
Tradewind are working with a Primary School in Darwen who are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time within their SEN class. The role is starting in March 2021 and will run until July 2021, with the potential to be extended.
They are looking for someone who has previous experience working in a SEN environment or someone who has worked extensively with learners with challenging behaviours. You will be supporting the children within the class with varying levels of SEN including very challenging behaviour, ADHD, Autism, visual impairment and some personal care. Any additional training will be provided to any successful candidates.

We are looking for:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent
- Experience working with SEN and challenging behaviour.
- Excellent communication and behaviour management techniques
Excellent interpersonal skills based on effective communication
- This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
- You must have the legal right to work in the UK
