I'm currently recruiting for a strong SEN Teaching Assistant to work in an Outstanding Special School which strives for excellence and high quality SEN support. They do this by offering expert and individualised support from all Teachers and Teaching Assistants to ensure all students achieve their full potential.

The ideal applicant will have experience in a SEN school environment, be able to learn quickly and be confident to work independently quickly. You will always have the support of the team, but successful candidates will be proactive, take initiative and have a genuine interest to work with students with Special Needs. Experience working with low functioning Autism (ASC) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) is also beneficial. The school are open to accepting applicants with mainstream experience who are passionate about developing their SEN skill set and have good SEN knowledge. All students in the class will have an individualised Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP).

Based in Ealing, this Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' school caters for 130 pupils Autistic Spectrum Disorders, SLD and PMLD. This is a setting where staff take a nurturing approach and constantly strive to make a real difference in the lives of their pupils. The school is in the centre of Greenford and is best accessed by car or local public transport links.

The SEN Teaching Assistant would:
*Work with a class of 5-10 pupils
*Support pupils with low functioning Autism (ASC) and severe learning difficulties
*Work with a full-time class Teacher
