Join a team of exceptional educators striving to be the best in their field. The right candidate will be available to work full time, Monday to Friday from 8.45am-3.45pm. The role will continue until the end of the academic year with the opportunity to continue for the right candidate.

Based in Ealing, this Primary SEN School provides highly individualised support to students aged 2-11 years old who have severe or Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties and/or Autism. All classes are organised based on age as well as need and learning style. The class you will be based in has 8 pupils, a class teacher and at least 2 other Teaching Assistants. This is a mixed ability class with students with Autism, sensory needs and hearing impairments. Pupils in this class are aged 9-11 years of age, falling into the Year 5 and 6 age group. Much of the focus will be preparing pupils for their transition to Secondary school in September.

The school has beautiful purpose-built facilities and is very well resourced to meet the needs of their SEN learners. There are many SEN professionals on site including psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists and even music therapists.

This is a school that values strong team members. There are regular twilight training sessions and the school pays over time for the hours you stay for training. There is an incredibly supportive Senior Leadership team who promote an ethos of collaboration and celebrating staff and student achievement.

The Teaching Assistant will:
*Have a Level 2 qualification in teaching and learning (not essential)
*Be experienced with Autism, Profound or Multiple Learning Difficulties or Severe Learning Difficulties
*Have performed a similar role, demonstrating initiative and a positive attitude
*Be confident providing 1:1 support and facilitating small groups

*Hold an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
