This is a mainstream school, rated as "good" by Ofsted and they are located close to a mainline station(10 minute walk). The school has a good reputation locally and they have a great team on board.

They are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). You will help provide them with strategies for dealing with situations which they find difficult and which can lead to conflict. The school is seeking candidates who are calm and patient, consistent, firm-but-fair and who are able to set clear expectations for behaviour, along with providing clear rewards and consequences.

This will be a really interesting and rewarding (and sometimes challenging!) role. The role starts immediately and will continue for the academic year until July 2021 at least. The salary will be £70-85 per day, depending on experience.

Ideally, applicants will have experience working with young people with similar needs, in a school or external setting.

This is a full time role, term time only, and the hours are 8.15am - 3.30pm, with 30 minutes for lunch.

If you have the necessary skills and experience and would like further details, please contact Stuart Edge on 020 7845 5450 or at stuart.edge@twrecruitment.com
