We are an esteemed education agency representing an outstanding Secondary School located in Hammersmith and Fulham. This forward-thinking school is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to provide one-on-one support to a student with autism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tailor support to meet the unique needs and learning goals of the student with autism.
• Facilitate the student's access to the curriculum and active participation in classroom activities.
• Cultivate a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
• Implement effective strategies to promote the social and emotional development of the student.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the student's ongoing progress and well-being.

Requirements:

• Prior experience working with students with autism is essential.
• Demonstrated patience and empathy in supporting students with special educational needs.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods and materials to suit the individual needs of the student.
• Flexibility and a strong commitment to working collaboratively within a team.
