Tradewind are currently recruiting for a TA to support a young man in year 8 with ADHD. Specifically, he struggles with keeping on task within the mainstream class, so you will be required to work on a 1:1 basis to keep his attention.
The boy has been known to try and leave the class and school so an active individual is required to ensure his safety. Experience with manual handling would be desirable.
The role is full time, Monday to Friday, 08:15-15:30, and will start ASAP on a long term basis until at least Christmas and will most likely go through the academic year.

The school is easily accessible by various short bus routes from 3 different tube stations or an overground train station. There is also a school carpark on-site.


Essential requirements:

Experience supporting young people with SEN including ADHD.

Previous TA, LSA, or support work within a school or other child-related experience.

Strong in English Literature and/or Language.
Open-minded, positive, and friendly approach.

A caring and professional manner.

Must have legal right to work in the UK.
