Tradewind Recruitment are working with an Ofsted rated Outstanding Secondary School in Harrow who are seeking a confident, personable SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a full time position that will commence ASAP and run until the Easter School Holidays in the first instance.

About the role - SEN Teaching Assistant - Harrow:
*You will be responsible for creating and facilitating a positive learning environment for students in KS3, KS4 and KS5, through encouragement, motivation and positive reinforcement
*You will working with students across a range of subject who have differing special needs and learning abilities. You will ensure that the individual needs of all students are met through differentiation, intervention and compassionate in class support
*You will also help to facilitate small group lessons or intervention sessions where you will plan, prepare and deliver suitable learning material to small groups or individual students

About the candidate - SEN Teaching Assistant - Harrow:
*The successful candidate will have prior experience in a similar SEN Teaching Assistant position who is confident supporting students with a wide range of needs and abilities
*You will be a hardworking, dedicated and motivated individual who is friendly, approachable and patient.
*A graduate who has experience working with children such as tutoring, youth work or mentoring would particularly suit this position. Prior experience is not strictly essential as all training will be provided.
