SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you an experienced Teaching or Learning Support Assistant looking to work in a mainstream primary school on a one to one basis with a student who has Autism?

Tradewind is working with a lovely school in Hatfield, Hertfordshire who are looking to appoint an SEN TA to start immediately for the whole academic year!

***Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant - Mainstream school located in Hatfield

***Working with Autism student in Year 4 - High ability pupil who needs some support

***Open to all experience levels - must have a passion for SEN

***£80 to 85 per day - Post will be for the whole 2021/22 academic year - Starting September

Located in the vibrant Hertfordshire town of Hatfield this highly inclusive Primary School is looking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant to support a student with Autism. This school is a friendly place to learn and teach with excellent behaviour throughout. All students are well supported but excellent provision for those with Special Education Needs has meant that this school is a popular choice for parents with SEN children.

The school is looking for a colleague to work with them on an ongoing, temporary basis for the rest of the academic year. This post is paid at between £80 and £85 per day based on experience.

The Teaching Assistant must:
***Ideally hold a degree (in any subject) or other relevant qualifications e.g. childcare
***Have recent experience working as a TA/LSA
***Have energy, commitment and creativity
***Be able to engage well with colleagues, children and their parents
***Have a positive attitude
***Be available and willing to commit for the academic year 2021/22
