Are you an experienced Teaching or Learning Support Assistant looking to work in a mainstream primary school on a one to one basis with a student who has Autism?

Tradewind is working with a lovely school in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire who are looking to appoint an SEN TA to start now or from April 2024 for the whole academic year!

***Special Educational Need Teaching Assistant - High Wycombe

***Long term role starting ASAP or from April 2024 - £90 to £100 per day

***Supporting Key Stage 2 students with Autism on a one-to-one basis

***All experienced TA's with a passion for SEN encouraged to apply

Located in High Wycombe this well-run school has a reputation for providing inclusive education for all children that aims to ensure they make excellent progress daily. Starting immediately or in April 2024 the school is looking to appoint at least 3 SEN TA's who will work on a one-to-one basis with students in Years 5 and 6 as they prepare to end their primary education and prepare for secondary. All three students are well behaved and respectful of staff and pupils but need concepts to be broken down using methods that have been developed over their time at the school to help them learn. The students have made excellent progress from when they first arrived at the school and the head teacher is keen to see they are fully prepared for the next stage of their education.

The Teaching Assistant must:

*Ideally hold a degree (in any subject) or other relevant qualifications e.g. childcare
*Have recent experience working as a TA/LSA
*Have energy, commitment and creativity
*Be able to engage well with colleagues, children and their parents
*Have a positive attitude
*Be available and willing to commit for the academic year till July 2024
