SEN Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with an Ofsted 'Good' School in Hounslow, who are seeking calm, patient and resilient teaching assistant to begin with them immediately up until the end of the academic year at the very least.

The role involves 1:1 support with a Year 3 child who has ASD who needs extra support, the school are looking for someone who can display and use effective behaviour strategies when working with the pupil, as well as supporting him as there is some global delay at present. The role is classroom based, within a Y3 support bubble.

The school is a lovely place to work, with a very friendly team of staff and children who are eager to learn. At the school they set high standards both academically and in their expectations for behaviour. They always expect children to do their best both in their learning and in their social interactions in the playground and around the school. It is the school's aim aim that every single one of their children leaves us with increased confidence, resilience and skills to tackle the next stage of their education effectively.

To join Tradewind and be successful as a SEN TA/KS2 you will need to meet the following criteria:

*Ideally have at least one years' experience working in a school
*Previous experience working with SEN children
*Be able to set clear boundaries and expectations of behaviour
*You must have the right to work in the UK
*Your CV must cover the last 10 Years of employment history
