The school has two year 5 boys starting with them after the October half term break and they need one strong and engaging Teaching Assistant to work with both throughout the day. The two boys are diagnosed with Autism (high functioning), do not have any behaviour issues and are very lovely to work with according to the SENCO!
Because it's a two to one role your time will be split equally between the two boys - there will be occasions when you'll be working with them at the same time.
INFORMATION ON THE ROLE
*8:30AM to 4:00PM
*Two to one role in Year 5 - two boys has Autism (high functioning)
*SEN Teaching Assistant
*Rate is £80 per day
*October ½ term start with view of going permanent

THE PERFECT CANDIDATE
*A degree with a 2:1 or higher (desired)
*Experience with Autism
*Engaging and bubbly
*Ideally KS2 experience
*Great behaviour management
*Up to date safeguarding training
*First aid training (desired)

All Candidates that apply must have experience working as a Teaching Assistant in Key Stage 2 and have Autism experience.
The position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas police Clearances and professional reference checks. Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.
