SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next role in Islington?

Tradewind are currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a delightful Primary School in Islington from November 2020. This is a full time, long-term role to work until the end of the academic year. You will be working on a 1:1 basis with a child with autism providing support to their learning and working alongside the class teacher. You will also assist preparing the classroom for lessons and activities. You will need to have excellent behaviour management skills and be able to use your own initiative as well as work as part of a team.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant for this role, you must have the following:
*at least 2 years' experience working in a primary school.
*must have experience working with children with SEN.
*a recognised qualification up to Level 3 or any relevant qualifications.
*possess excellent communication skills.
*encouraging and caring personality.
The School - Islington

The school is a community school located in the heart of Islington. It is a two form entry primary school with a nursery attached. Having recently relocated to a new building, the school is a modern fit for children's education with lots of outdoor and indoor space, fantastic facilities including a library and the latest ICT equipment.
