This rewarding role involves working with primary aged students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a part-time/ad hoc basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to primary SEN students.
- Implement individualised education plans and strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development.
- Assist with classroom activities and ensure a safe and supportive learning space.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with primary-level students with a range of SEN, including Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and other complex needs.
- Understanding of various teaching strategies and methodologies for students with SEN.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work on a part-time/ad hoc basis.
