This is a part-time, long-term role with a salary of £55-£60 per day.

About the school
We are recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant on behalf of a one form entry Primary School in Hull. The local Hull Nursery School has become synonymous with quality care, and adopts a practical child-centred approach, where children are respected as individuals and encouraged to learn and develop at their own pace within a home from home environment.

The school has recently been refurbished to allow for better practice within the Nursery and this has had a huge impact on the children's learning environment. The Headteacher is looking for someone who will fit with this ethos and be confident in a busy Early Years room.

The school is based in Hull and is accessible via car or bus.

About the role
The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work within their EYFS department, within the schools Reception class. The school are looking for somebody with a strong knowledge of working with children with SEN and good behaviour management skills.
The role itself will involve working from 8.30am to 3.40pm each day, supporting children in Reception class with complex needs. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will also be required to help with personal hygiene care.

This SEN TA role will include:
*Implementing creative and learning activities in line with EYFS,
*Working as part of a busy team, ensuring safety and wellbeing of children at all times
*Following health and safety policies and procedures, carrying out observations of children
*Writing reports
*Assisting on trips to places of interest with children and interacting parents and updating them on child's progress
*Supervising play
