This is a full time, long-term role with a salary of £60 per day.

About the school
We are recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant on behalf on a caring, happy and friendly academy in Hull. The purpose of this academy is for their young people to leave as confident and adaptable learners who are imaginative, intelligent and independent ready to be responsible, respectful and aspirational members of their community and the wider world.
The academy has good provisions in place to meet pupil's personal development and welfare needs. The work of the school's welfare team provides caring and nurture and guidance for vulnerable pupils and their families.

The school is based in East Hull and is accessible via car or bus.

About the role
This primary school is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work across all key stages and be confident in implementing 1:1 interventions. The successful candidate must have excellent behaviour management and experience of working with children with an EHC Plan.
The role itself will involve supporting a child within the school class who requires extra support. The child has some behavioural challenges and so the school have requested that the successful Teaching Assistant has good behaviour management skills and have the ability to remain firm but fair.
