We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, positive and hard-working Teaching Assistant to join the dedicated team of staff at a Kirkby-based Primary School.


The position will primarily be supporting an EYFS child on a 1 to 1 basis but will also involve other 1 to 1 and small group work both inside and outside the classroom, as directed by the class teacher.

The position is offered on a temporary basis and is anticipated to be for one year. However, the contract will be linked to the child's attendance at the school so could be shorter if he were to leave. The position available is to start as soon as possible.

The post is 27.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday 8:45am to 12:00pm and 1:00pm to 3:15pm and is term-time only (39 weeks per year).

Experience of working with children with SEND would be an advantage. A nurturing and inclusive approach is essential.
