A primary school in Lambeth is looking to recruit a SEN teaching assistant to work with SEN pupils throughout EYFS & KS1?

This mainstream primary school is inclusive, so you will be working with a range of pupils. All staff believe that everybody deserves an equal chance in life without exception and through this ethos the school provide a wide range of support and services to enhance the educational experience.


JOB DESCRIPTION - SEN Teaching Assistant - Autism / Team Teach experience

*Provide support and guidance to students
*Day to day support for life skills
*Carrying out personal care as necessary
*Prepare resources under teacher instruction
*Effective record keeping in line with the EHCP
*Starting after the half term
*Earn £70 to £90 per day plus additional benefits

PERSON SPECIFICATION - SEN Teaching Assistant - Autism / Team Teach experience

*Degree or Level 2 or 3 qualified Teaching Assistant
*Experience in a SEN role - Autism experience
*Team Teach training needed
*Ideally having worked in a similar setting supporting students with complex needs
*Knowledge of using communication strategies
*Ability to manage challenging behaviours
*Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
*Be a good role model for the young pupils
*Ability to drive pupil progress
