SEN Teaching Assistant

Do you have a passion for supporting children with additional needs? Would you like to work with pupils who have special education needs in a mainstream environment?

Tradewind is currently supporting a mainstream primary school based in Leighton Buzzard who requires members of staff who have supported children in a variety of settings with ASC, SEMH, MLD and other special education needs.

***SEN Teaching Assistant - Leighton Buzzard
***Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis with additional needs
***Open to all experience levels - must have a passion for SEN
***£70 to £80 per day - Post will be for the whole 2020/21 academic year - Starting ASAP

This two-form entry primary school was rated 'outstanding' by OFSTED in 2017 and is local to Leighton Buzzard station.

They would like to employ a new member of staff from January who meets the following criteria:

*Degree Qualified or completed SEN courses such as; Team Teach/Makaton/Pecs
*Experience supporting children with SEN (not necessarily within a School)
*Knowledge of Autism and Social, emotional, mental, health difficulties
*Available to start in January on a full-time basis (8.30am-4pm)
*Can commit for the full academic year and potentially longer
*DBS on the update service or willing to complete one asap
