SEN Teaching Assistant

Tradewind is recruiting for a long-term SEN Teaching Assistant position in a Secondary school.
If you are a compassionate and hardworking Graduate teaching assistant with a background in supporting SEN students, then this is just the role for you!!

We are looking for:
*A candidate with UK classroom experience
*Experience supporting students in small groups and 1-to-1 settings
*Someone with a background working with SEN
*A candidate with a strong working knowledge of up to date safeguarding policies and procedures
*Someone within daily commuting distance from
*A candidate with a DBS on the Update Service or a willingness to participate in a DBS check

This mainstream secondary school is based in Beckenham, a short walk from Beckenham station. The school has recently moved into a new state of the art building providing more space and modern facilities. The role will be long term, full time Monday - Friday, 8:30-3:30.

Job Responsibilities for the SEN Teaching Assistant will include:
The SEN Teaching Assistant will be responsible for 1-to-1 support for a year 8 and year 11 student. A background in supporting students with ASD, ADHD and behavioural needs is ideal.
