We are seeking to appoint an excellent Teaching Assistant, from October 2020, to join the strong, committed staff team at a Anfield-based Primary School. You will be a key worker to support the implementation of the Education, Health and Care Plan for a child as well as being part of EHCP provision for other individual children. This role will also include working with other children in the cohort and provide general support to the teaching team. The contract will be linked to the funding for the individual child and will start in Year 4.

You will:
-Build strong relationships between adults and children;
-Be proactive in promoting our school values;
-Be committed to providing a caring, nurturing school environment for all of our children;
-Have a passion for inspiring learners and the drive to raise attainment and achieve excellent outcomes for all children;
-Be flexible to be able to meet the varied needs of our children;
-Be committed to ensuring our provision is of the very highest standard;
-Be keen to be part of the wider team across the school;
-Have good English and Maths skills;
-Have a desire to develop your own skill set and be part of the whole life of the school;
-Be a strong communicator, who is able to discuss sensitive issues with confidence and professionalism.

Knowledge/experience of working with children with autism would be beneficial.

You will be joining an established, supportive and flexible team of teachers and teaching assistants working within a school with a strong ethos of teamwork and co-operation.

This is a temporary appointment to assist with provision of the special needs of a pupil and is subject to their continued attendance at the school and/or result of any review of their special needs.
