On behalf of a Norris Green-based Primary School, Tradewind Recruitment are looking to appoint a patient, flexible and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support a child in lower KS2, with specific learning needs as identified in their EHCP. This position is to start as soon as possible and will run until July 2021, in the first instance.

The role will involve:
*Working 1:1 and in small groups to provide support for additional needs, enhance development and facilitate inclusion;
*Liaising with parents, class teachers and the SENDCo;
*Working in partnership with a range of external agencies;
*Contributing to and attending Annual Reviews and other review meetings;
*Facilitating the implementation of the child's EHCP.

We are looking for someone who has:
*GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent) English and Maths;
*Is able to support children with the specific learning needs;
*Excellent interpersonal skills;
*Is resilient and able to cope with the demands of the post;
*Works in a calm, caring but firm and supportive manner;
*Works well within a team and can use their initiative to help the child develop;
*Can recognise that children need to develop independence to allow them to build on life skills;
*Personifies our school's core values and mission statement.
