Tradewind Recruitment are seeking SEND Teaching Assistants to work in Primary schools across Liverpool. Our schools educate children aged 3-11 years old and require TAs to support pupils with an SEND diagnosis and Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP).

We are ideally looking for full time candidates but we would consider candidates with part time availability. We are looking for 1:1 Teaching Assistants, as well as general Teaching Assistants.

Responsibilities:

Supporting pupils to complete academic and social tasks;
Support on a 1:1 or small group basis;
Promoting Independence and the development of social skills;
Supporting children to reach their targets outlined on their EHCP;
Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCO's and other professionals.

Requirements:

Experience working with children or adults with SEND;
Having a Teaching Assistant qualification would be beneficial but not essential;
Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one;
A full educational and employment history (with any gaps explained).
