The position of an SEN LSA is available on a full-time basis (Monday to Friday) and is long-term contract with the view of going permanent with the school.

Our client is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who comes with experience working with students with Special education needs across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Appointed applicant will support the class teacher, other staff and professionals in meeting the pupil's needs to enable him to achieve his full potential.

The successful applicant will:

* Have experience of working with secondary Students with ASD and behaviour difficulties
* Have effective communication skills with a good working knowledge of the English language and the ability to keep written notes on pupil progress.
* Have experience of working as part of a team
* Be enthusiastic, confident and show initiative
* Ideally have previous experience of working with special educational needs/learning difficulties.

This secondary school holds a Specialist Status in Mathematics and Computing as well as being awarded "Outstanding" during its most recent visit from Ofsted (2017).
