Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a one form entry Primary School in Oldham to start in April until the Summer 2019. This is a full-time, long-term role.

To join us and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:

*Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant/ Degree Qualification
*Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained
*Have the legal right to work in the UK

About the school:

We are recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant on behalf of a one form entry Primary School in Oldham. The school is a friendly and supportive Village school which is at the heart of the town community. This schools' Christian values underpin their ethos - valuing the respect and tolerance for all faiths and beliefs for their multi-cultural rich and multi-faith community.

Leaders, new to the school, have brought a fresh approach to improving teaching and the quality of leadership at all levels. Teachers and support staff work together to plan a curriculum that helps pupils progress from year to year.

The school is based in Oldham and is accessible via car or bus.

About the role:

The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work within their KS2 department, within the schools Year 4 class. The school are looking for somebody with a strong knowledge of working with children with SEN and good behaviour management skills.

The role itself will involve working from 8.30am to 3.15pm each day, supporting a child in Year 4 class with autism.
