Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for an exciting new opportunity in Sandwell?

Tradewind are delighted to be working in partnership with a Sandwell Primary School to recruit a Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a range of pupils with complex and additional needs.

The school provide a safe environment which prepares the pupils within school to be confident and happy citizens. The school seeking a hardworking and motivated Teaching Assistant to join their team of committed and experienced professionals. The ideal Teaching Assistant for this role has a Level 3 Qualification who has had a minimum of 6 months supporting pupils with complex and additional needs. The long-term opportunity is full time.

You will be required to support the class teacher with planning for activities and lesson's and liaise with the SENDCO when appropriate. In addition, you will also be required to provide 1:1 and small group support for pupil with complex and additional needs. PECS, MAKATON or any additional SEN specific training/certificates are highly sought after for this role. You must also have an enthusiastic and positive approach to teaching and learning, as well as the ability to quickly build up strong relationships and rapport with individual children is important.

The School is in Sandwell and is easily accessible via public transport with a bus station a few minutes walk away in addition to a large onsite secure car park.
