SEN Teaching Assistant

  • Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant for Sheffield Primary School.

  • Location: South Sheffield Primary School.

  • Start Date: ASAP (ongoing contract with potential to go permanent).

  • Contract: Full time, five days a week.

  • Pay: £83.33-100 per day.

We are supporting a nurturing primary school in South Sheffield to hire a Teaching Assistant with SEN experience. The role is to commence as soon as the ideal candidate can start!

The curriculum is designed to deliver a dynamic and rich education to pupils, engaging with cross-curricular themes and projects and allowing them to reach their full potential. Your Role: You will be instrumental in supporting teachers by closely supporting primary (likely lower KS2) students with SEN needs to access learning. Your duties will include:

  • Providing tailored and differentiated support to students requiring additional assistance.

  • Cultivating an inclusive and positive learning environment.

  • Nurturing SEN students' social and emotional growth.

  • Working closely with primary educators and staff to boost student outcomes.
