Tradewind are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school in Sheffield. The school require an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work on a one-to-one basis with a student in Year 4. The role is due to start in January 2021. The role is for 5 days a week from 8.30am-1.30pm. The salary will range from £14,373 to £15,971 pro rata.

The school is based in a leafy area of Sheffield. The school caters for students from Foundation Stage to Year 6. They have a highly supportive SLT with fantastic CPD courses on offer.

The successful Teaching Assistant will be required to provide one-to-one support with a Y4 student with ASD. The student does require behavioural support and a Team Teach qualification would be an advantage. The role is from 8.30am-1.30pm each day, Monday to Friday. They would be supporting the child in the delivery of the National Curriculum and manage behaviour within the classroom setting. They are looking for a flexible, enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teaching Assistant.

Essential requirements:

Teaching Assistant experience, prior SEN experience desirable, enhanced DBS check or willingness to apply for one
