This is a 2-form entry primary school in South East London who are currently looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant
to join their team rom September. The position pays a daily rate of between £70-£85 dependent on your experience, qualifications and SEN knowledge.

The school is extremely popular and over-subscribed in a great location on the borders of Southwark and Lewisham. It is a 3-form entry junior school educating and supporting children from year 3 up to year 6. The Headteacher has been at the school for over 20 years, starting off as a class teacher and working her way up to the top. This means she has a thorough understanding of the school and sets high standards for her staff. Teachers here are expected to work closely together and do things as a team. The school building itself is traditional and there are excellent facilities on site. There are outdoor play areas for break times and useful inside spaces for children to benefit from. The school has recently been rated as a 'Good' school with excellent behaviour.

The school is conveniently nestled between 2 tube stations near central London, also with excellent bus and train links from central and South East London.

The Headteacher is keen to recruit 2 x SEN Teaching Assistants assigned to either key stage 1 or key stage 2.

The SEN Teaching Assistant must:
*Ideally hold a degree (in any subject)
*Ideally have experience working as a Teaching Assistant
*Have good level of general SEN knowledge (essential)
*Be able to support children academically
*Have creativity, organisation skills, and a positive work ethic
*Be able to engage well with colleagues, children and their parents
