Sanza Teaching Agency & Tradewind Recruitment are working with a Primary and Nursery school in the borough of Southwark. The school are looking for a SEN TA to work with students in the Nursery school who have SEN. The position will commence immediately and will be long term until the end of the school academic year with a potential of a permanent contract for the right person.

The school are looking for a TA with experience of supporting children within EYFS or KS 1 with SEN.

The school is set in extensive grounds with many mature trees - an oasis in an urban setting. There are vegetable gardens for the children, play equipment and runways for the bikes and trikes. Naturally, the children love spending time outside so the classroom doors are kept open as much as possible giving the children direct access to the gardens.
The school provide a fun, child-centred environment which stimulates children to become independent learners. They provide a well-resourced, exciting and challenging curriculum, which promotes active learning through play.

The schools curriculum takes into account the four principles of the EYFS which state that :
All children are unique and competent learners.
Children learn to be independent by building positive relationships.
The nursery environment should be secure and support learning in every way.
Children learn at different rates and all areas of learning are important and inter-connected.

The Early Years Foundation Stage includes seven areas of learning and development with three prime areas. As children move into reception classes they will still be working towards 'The Early Learning Goals' set out in the EYFS so there will be continuity for the children through their transition into primary school. The school provide a firm foundation on which to build future academic, social and emotional success.

The school are taking applications from TA's with experience in supporting children with SEN with Early Years. If you are dedicated and passionate about education and want to work in a primary school then please apply to SANZA & Tradewind asap by submitting your CV to chess.maxwell@sanzateaching.com or calling 0207 845 6240
