The School:
*Located in Mile End in East London
*Accessed via Stepney Green and Limehouse stations
*Local bus route is the 399 bus

*Well resourced curriculum with specialist teachers
*Engaging parents and carers who support staff at the school

The Role:
*Full time, long term role
*SEN TA working with students with ASD
*January start until the end of the academic year
*Working across year groups but focused in KS1 and lower KS2
*1:1 support with specific students
*Small group interventions (5-8 students)
*Supporting in class reading and out of school reading checks
*Liaising with parents/carers about the child's progress

The Candidate:
The successful applicant for this full time SEN Teaching Assistant role must have previous experience working in and supporting KS1 and Lower KS2 lessons. Applicants must be able to commit to five days a week full time work from January to the end of July, and work the hours of 8.30am to 4.00pm. Experience working with students who have ASD is crucial and 1:1 TA experience is desirable. Candidates must have strong communication skills, patience and a nurturing character in order to be able to support the children fully.

This SEN TA position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas police Clearances and professional reference checks. Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.
