The Role:
*Full time, long term role
*8.30am-4.00pm
*SEN TA working with students with ASD
*January start until the end of the academic year
*Working across year groups but focused in KS1 and lower KS2
*1:1 support with specific students
*Small group interventions (5-8 students)
*Supporting in class reading and out of school reading checks
*Liaising with parents/carers about the child's progress

The Candidate:
The successful applicant for this full time SEN Teaching Assistant role must have previous experience working in and supporting KS1 and Lower KS2 lessons. Applicants must be able to commit to five days a week full time work from January to the end of July, and work the hours of 8.30am to 4.00pm. Experience working with students who have ASD is crucial and 1:1 TA experience is desirable. Candidates must have strong communication skills, patience and a nurturing character in order to be able to support the children fully.
