A friendly and supportive Independent school in the heart of Tower Hamlets is now recruiting! Are you an experienced SEN TA who is keen to support children with special educational needs? Are you a recent graduate who has some experience working with children? If so, Tradewind Recruitment wants to hear from you!
This coveted role starts asap and the school are offering pay rates of between £70 -£80 per day.
This non-selective fee paying school in Tower Hamlets, has Christian values and is a co-educational day school for primary aged children. It has grown to a three-form entry school since its inception in 1948.There has been considerable investment in their new facilities including the construction of 12 new classrooms and a state-of-the-art performance studio. The grounds are landscaped which include climbing frames and an AstroTurf sports' court.
Class sizes are small and there are at least two adults to one classroom. They also have Specialist Music, Art, PE and Language teachers.
As the successful SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be potentially supporting children with high functioning Autism, Learning Difficulties and Dyslexia etc. Children have yet to be assigned to a SEN Teaching Assistant, so there is some flexibility on year groups.
The school is close to Victoria Park and Regent's Canal in East London, accessible by the District line.
The school are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants with the following qualities:
*Recent experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly in a Primary setting.
*A graduate (not essential but preferred)
*Good presentation and excellent written and spoken English
*The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
*Sympathy to the ethos of the school
