As the successful SEN Teaching Assistant you will be joining a supportive and friendly, Ofsted rated Outstanding, one form entry school.

*** About the school***

This one-form entry Ofsted rated "Outstanding" Primary School, is a welcoming and friendly school in the heart of the City of London. It is well-organised, resourced and supported by a welcoming team lead by an exceptional Headteacher; SLT and staff. Parents are very invested in their children's education and supportive of their learning. As the successful SEN TA, you will be working with a 3 year old child on the Autistic Spectrum, who is non-verbal. He doesn't display challenging behaviour although is not socially aware. Staff in Nursery work very much as part of a team however there will be some personal care involved. This rewarding role will suit an experienced Teaching Assistant who has experience of working with children on the Autistic Spectrum - qualifications and/or experience working in a nursery would be a bonus!

*** As the successful SEN Teaching Assistant***

First and foremost, you will be passionate and find working with children with special educational needs very rewarding.

You will either have experience of working with children on the Autistic Spectrum or an Early Years' qualification.

You will be calm and patient Nursery practitioner who is flexible, reliable and a team player!

The work will be set by the Nursery teacher however any input or support from you, will be appreciated.

You will be available to work from 8.30 - 15.45, Monday -Friday. For continuity of care, the school are interested in Teaching Assistants who are able to commit for the year.

Job Requirements
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
*Experience of working with Autistic children.
