SEN Teaching Assistant

Tradewind are currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide one-on-one support to a Year 3 child with autism. This fulfilling role will commence after the half-term break and extend until the end of the academic year.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the child, providing personalised assistance to facilitate their academic and social development. Your role will be pivotal in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.

Key details of the position:

Position: Teaching Assistant (1-1 support for a Year 3 child with autism)

Location: Tyldesley, Wigan

Duration: From after half term until the end of the academic year

Schedule: 5 days a week, Monday to Friday

Hours: 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM

Competitive daily pay rates: £85-90

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

• NVQ level 2 qualification
• Experience of working with Early Years children
• SEN experience would be an advantage.
• Experience of working in a relevant classroom environment
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
• Legal right to work in the UK
