Are you an energetic Teaching Assistant wanting to work in an Alternative School in which families and colleagues feel welcome and valued?

This full time Teaching Assistant position is a 2-term supply contract starting from February half term until June 2020, for the right person this could become a permanent role. This position is working within Wigan, near to the Winstanley area.

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work in a school that place a strong emphasis on making learning fun, so that children enjoy coming to school feeling loved and respected. The children within the setting do have SEMH needs so strong behaviour management and classroom management is desired. The role is working with children who are aged KS1 and KS2 however some students are working at KS3 Level.

The School believe that the curriculum should be directed towards the needs of their individuals, whilst ensuring that all objectives from the National Curriculum document are covered. This ensures that their children are well grounded in the key skills, knowledge and understanding.

We are looking for a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant that has experience of working with children with SEND, including autism, ADHD and SEMH.

This school is accessible from the M6 motorway or there is a bus route which takes 41 minutes from Wigan Bus Station.
