SEN Teaching Assistant - Wisbech, Cambridgeshire - £80 to £95 per day - Immediate Start - one to one and small group work - Opportunity for progression

Are you a specialist SEN Teaching Assistant who aspires to become part of a large and committed SEN team starting immediately? Do you want to make a difference in the education experience for children with learning difficulties?

Your job is to help students with all subjects so that they can access the curriculum equally. You'll be actively involved in their learning, helping them feel accomplished and more self-reliant in both their schoolwork and other aspects of school life.

***£80 - £95 per day depending on level of experience

***Monday - Friday School hours and term time only

Tradewind is currently working with a lovely Primary School in Wisbech who are looking for an SEN TA to join their fantastic SEN Team. With a curriculum that is designed to be inclusive, all children are eager to learn and keen to achieve the best of their ability. The school upholds a supportive and inclusive work environment and encourages professional development amongst members of the team. Staff wellbeing is also at the forefront, with understanding SLT who always have a listening ear for all staff members.

Requirements for the SEN Teaching Assistant position:

  • Experience as a Learning Support Assistant, preferably in a regular or Special Educational Needs (SEN) environment.
  • Familiarity with any of the following is a bonus: Autism awareness, Makaton, PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System).
  • Openness to undergo training in areas like safeguarding, medication administration, and first aid.
  • Keen interest in working in demanding yet rewarding situations.
