Sanza Teaching Agency are working exclusively with a Large three form entry Primary School that are recruiting for 1:1 Support staff within EYFS and KS1. The roles are to start September 2020 and will be until July 2021 with the option to get permanent at the end of the year. Some of these roles may include working closely with SEN, behavioural or learning difficulties on a one to one basis or in small groups to improve the national standard of learning.

The role:



Some of these roles may include working closely with SEN, behavioural or learning difficulties on a one to one basis or in small groups to improve the national standard of learning. This may involve supporting children who are lower achieving with their literacy and numeracy. It may include assisting those who do not use English as their first language also. You will assist the class teacher with any requirements and be able to provide feedback to colleagues and parents dependent on the nature of the role. For any type of role in TA setting, you must have experience in this field having supported children in a class or on a one to one basis with their English and Maths. It is desirable however not essential for you to obtain a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Teaching Assistant course. You should have certain qualities in order to succeed such as being flexible, hardworking and be able to adapt to the ever changing world of Education.



The candidate:



To be considered for this LSA role you will need to be passionate about working with children who have special educational needs, more specifically those children who have speech and language difficulties. This could be a perfect role for an aspiring speech and language therapist keen on gaining experience prior to a MSc etc. Previous experience working with SEN children either in a volunteer or paid role would be advantageous.
