Tradewind Recruitment are seeking level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant's to support various SEN pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Primary Schools. These positions require TA's to support pupils with a variety of needs. These needs can be varied and all come with their own different challenges.
You will need to have prior SEN experience and any specific training would be advantageous, As an experienced SEN TA, you will be well versed in dealing with varying needs. You will work with children that have Autism, Aspergers, Down Syndrome, EBD, SEMH.
Successful SEN TA will have:
Minimum level 2 qualified
Experience of working within a Primary or Special Needs school environment
EYFS, Key Stage 1 & Key Stage 2 experience
Must be able to deal with challenging behaviour and pupils who do not like change
Desire to make a difference
Assessing communication environments
Monitoring and evaluating pupils progress
