Are you a dedicated teacher with a strong passion for addressing Special Educational Needs? Are you seeking a new opportunity starting January 2024, with the potential for a long-term or permanent role?

Tradewind is collaborating with an outstanding, sizeable SEN School situated in Watford, Hertfordshire, devoted to supporting children with severe and complex learning difficulties. Due to expansion, they are seeking a new teacher to join their team from January!

***SEN Teacher - Openings in both Primary and Secondary year groups - Watford, Hertfordshire

***Permanent or Long-Term position - MPS plus SEN Points - £155 to £245 per day

The School - SEN Teacher Situated in Watford, this expansive SEN School has been successfully nurturing students with severe and complex learning difficulties, instilling a lifelong passion for learning since its establishment 30 years ago. With recent growth, the school is looking to appoint two teachers at any career stage who share a genuine passion for supporting SEN children.

Role requirements for SEN Teachers:

  • Qualified Teacher Status from either a Primary or Secondary background with SEN experience.
  • Handling challenging behaviour is commonplace, requiring a composed and understanding teacher who can assert themselves.
  • Abundant support, including multiple Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) in each class, along with an exceptional leadership team providing ongoing CPD.
  • A profound understanding and a high level of experience working with SEN pupils are essential.
