Are you a dedicated and passionate teacher with a commitment to improving the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health challenges (SEND and SEMH)? If so, Tradewind Recruitment has a rewarding opportunity for you to make a difference in schools across Merseyside.

We are seeking a qualified SEND Supply Teacher to work in various SEND and SEMH schools across Merseyside. The successful candidate will have a genuine desire to support and nurture SEND students and will be instrumental in providing an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons tailored to the needs of SEND students.
  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Manage challenging behaviour effectively, using positive behaviour management strategies.
  • Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and assessment data.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Prior experience working with SEND children
  • Availability to work a minimum of 2 days per week
  • Empathy and understanding for the needs of SEND and SEMH students
