SEND Supply Teacher

We are seeking a qualified SEND Supply Teacher to work in various SEND and SEMH schools across Merseyside. The successful candidate will have a genuine desire to support and nurture SEND students and will be instrumental in providing an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons tailored to the needs of SEND students.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Manage challenging behaviour effectively, using positive behaviour management strategies.
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and assessment data.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Prior experience working with SEND children
- Availability to work a minimum of 2 days per week
- Empathy and understanding for the needs of SEND and SEMH students
