A primary school in South Manchester are recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties.

Some children with Moderate Learning Difficulties can have attainments below expected levels in a lot of the areas in the curriculum. And could have a much greater difficulty than their peers in acquiring literacy and numeracy skills and also understanding concepts.

Many needs can come under the MLD umbrella, including Dyslexia, ADHD, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia and Processing Deficits. And each child will need a tailored approach to suit their learning and needs.

The role
The school require a Learning Support Assistant to work across all year groups to support children on a individual and small group basis. The appointed candidate will be responsible for working along side Teachers, SLT and outside organisations to ensure children's needs are met and they are being given the best support available.

The essentials:
To join us and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role you will need to:
* Hold a minimum Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification
* This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
* You must have the legal right to work in the UK
