Special Needs Teacher specialising in Autism needed for an Outstanding Special School in Birmingham!

Tradewind Recruitment are currently partnering with an exceptional Special School in Harborne that caters to students with autism/ASC/ASD across KS3 and KS4. The role is to start ASAP on a full-time basis, 8:45am-3:45pm.

We are seeking a qualified Teacher (NQTs welcome) who is passionate about Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and looking for part-time / daily supply work. The role involves teaching mixed ability classes and requires prior experience in working with students on the autism spectrum.

The school upholds high standards of teaching and learning, with a strong commitment to ensuring that every student achieves their full potential. Experience with Makaton and PECS is crucial to effectively communicate with students, promoting their progress in academics and social interactions.
