The school is seeking a calm, patient, caring and perseverant teaching assistant. The role will involve 1:1 support for a child with Autism (ASD) and You will be working with this child on a 1:1 basis and also with him when he is in class. There may also be some general TA work, as and when required.

He is a very likeable boy in Year 2, who works well when he has routines to follow and the school wish to integrate him more and more into the class. He loves reading and drawing and these are great activities to encourage other areas of learning. He sometimes finds school life frustrating but the pupils in the class are very understanding and he has some good friends.
