We are seeking to place an SEN Teaching Assistant in a supportive and welcoming Centre for Autism (attached to a mainstream Primary school in Lambeth).

The school, rated 'Good' by Ofsted, is looking to appoint 3 members of staff who are able to support in the classroom environment. To be successful, you will need some SEN experience, preferably with children with Autism. The school offers exceptionally CPD, training, inset and general support, so provided you have some experience, an eagerness to learn and are committed to staying with the school - this could well be the idela role for you!

The role:

You will be classroom based, and supporting the Qualified SEN Teacher alongside 2 other Teaching Assistants. The staff: student ratio is excellent - and you will get time to support the students 1:1 with their academic learning, social development and general life skills. Classes are mixed with Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students.
